Joe’s been professionally working with bodies for 33 years. His “Health and Fitness’’ journey started in his late 20’s as a fitness enthusiast, amateur body builder, then Pilates aficionado.   

In his early 20’s, he hurt his back lifting a heavy object and the struggle began. He dealt with back pain throughout all his professional fitness endeavors. 

He was always chasing pain relief, that eventually lead to specializing in pain relief, working with clients that were having a similar struggle. 

The mindset of must stretch, must do cardio, must lift, must do Pilates, yoga, etc. did not have a lasting effect, just momentary relief. 

This all changed with his introduction to FP. For years it was always about the symptoms. The FP approach is dealing with the body as a whole system, tensegrity thought, incorporating the “Big 4”, while always showcasing results. The FP process switched his thinking on how to approach movement. This is his thought process now. How to create balance in the human body while moving, eventually eliminating pain and making real changes that last.
